Diamond Contest
We're sorry, but this contest is presently open to a limited pool of designers.
Dear paulharack, if this is your first time using this site could you please spare a minute to read this post: http://logotournament.com/forum/general_discussion/914 even if you have used the site before i would definitely recommend reading it as it contains some important info that I'm sure you will find very helpful. thanks!
Sorry for the lack of feedback..had a few small emergencies that pulled me away from this entirely. I suppose giving
general feedback is better than the individual designers'feedback pages so everyone can see.
I will try to be brief to start giving you guys some points.
1) Basically, i am totally new at figuring out what exactly i am looking for, but the suggestions so far are great! Obviously this is for the long run, and the logo will represent anything from being on a t-shirt to appearing on an invoice.
2) #9 was first as i love the color, and the cleanliness and simplicity of the logo. The text is good, perhaps a tad "conservative" so it could be critiqued as old fasioned, or missing in the modern department. In other words, one might mistake it for a real estate firm, or anything, and doens't incorporate IT.
3) #20 is very good. the colors are great. (ironically the same as i painted my house). The nice simple shapes could represent two people being consulted, which is good. The shadow gives a great effect. lots of feedback from friends and family on this one.
4) #24 impressed me with the text initially and the line under it, where the part that says "we are your it department". That part is good, as it should stand out a little bit. The logo, although simple doens't represent anything too much.
5) #31 i liked the text and the way I.T. changed color. that might take away from the need of making the whole sentence "bolded". make sense?
thanks and let me know if you guys have any questions.
Hey guys, what if we tried some designs that used something computer related...like a mouse cursor, or a keyboard, who knows...something representative of both the IT field AND the Consulting?
great progress guys...i think i'm convinced that i don't need to see "HC" in the logo, but a more accurate image of what we do is more effective. #79 and #86 both use the mouse cursor and a piece of mail, on the right track.
The logos that have been provided have been great...those that were removed were great, although i'm looking for something that can be identified right away as being an IT company. Some of the others may be construed as any other companies, but do carry a profeesional look.
The mouse pointer with the finger is great (providing it doens't violate any copyright laws), pointing to something is very simple. Perhaps keys on a keyboard in a fancy design, yet simple?
like the folder design, with the original mouse pointer. Would like to try a few different fonts for the Harack Consulting. And the I.T. department could be more pronounced in a different color?
