We test residential homes to determine if asbestos, lead and other hazards are present in the home before demolition, remediation or construction work is undertaken. To assess the presence of hazards, we test walls, floors, ceilings, the air and other construction materials to determine if risks are present and to determine if expert abatement is needed to make the home environment safe for construction workers and homeowners

The words "Hamilton Environmental Testing" should resonate as highly trustworthy, stable, reliable.
We are thinking that the name of the company might be capitalized and with serif,

Other theme ideas that could come across in the logo or the graphics...
--Scientific: beaker, testing, chemicals, microscope, assessing, measuring (people need to know this is a scientific company at first glance ... this could come across in the graphics)
--Absent Minded Professor/Scientist: brilliant, smart, a little disheveled, excited, eureka, a little bit messy hair, trustworthy, reliable (the general manager is kind of an absent minded professor type, but a fun personality... this could be built into a graphic)
--Clean: green, eco-friendly, safe (could come across in coloring (green, light blue) in the graphic

The two attachments have some rough ideas and demonstrate example of possible fonts. The scientist graphics aren't quite right but they give a general idea. A beaker or another scientific symbol would be good.
