We like the concept of the plant being protected and cradled in the crescent.

Let's delete the tag line.

We'd also like to see the three crescent shapes be different colors. Think harvest colors. The bottom one can stay red. Middle one orange, and the top one golden yellow.

We'd like to see a new version with the same color change as we talked about with each of the three crescents; however, we would like the entire grouping of crescents to rotate clockwise so they are cradling only the left side of the plant... more like a half moon. And please open up the crescent a little by shortening the two longest points.

Let's also see a new version with either a single wheat stalk, (or try a bundled wheat sheave) on each side of the plant forming the crescent. This version can keep the plant cradled in the middle instead of on the side.

#15 please select a different plant for the middle. Also let us see a plant/vine that spills over the front lines. please show a lighter red on the bottom lines.

#19 please show this with a subtle soft sunset orange background. Something light that you would see in a sunset before it becomes rich and vibrant.

#83: We would still like to play with the object in the middle of the crescents.

Let's try one with an artichoke inside. It has a shape that is more rounded instead of an outward shape.

We grow tomatoes of different varieties, so let's also see one with a tomato vine inside and 3 or 5 tomatoes clinging to the vine. But, we'd like to see part of the vine spill out of the crescent and onto the text of HalfMoon. Let's also try to have some of the vine or tomato cover a portion of the text... but keep the words still easy to read.

Let's try one with no plant in the middle. But let's put something more subtle inside like a plowed field with rows inside.

On one of the new versions, try doing the text with sentence case, with only the "H" and the "M" capitalized and the rest lowercase. Keep the FARMS all upper case.

#123 Crop off more of the stem and settle the artichoke at the base. make the green leaves at the bottom of the artichoke bigger. Also give the yellow leaves of the artichoke a bit of shading or a gradient.

#126: We'd like to see more of a landscape and less stylized hills. 2-3 rolling hills layered on each other with furrows that you can see. Try a gradient with different green colors.

#129: Let's try the monochromatic version with the dark red color... and another version with the darker green color from #126.

... I forgot to ask for both a white logo on the dark red background and another version on the darker green, as well as one with the dark drown color in #29.

#136: and #132: Make the logo and text white and just have a colored background.

#135: The fields are still too abstract. Let's make them more realistic. Don't make it a perfect circle within the crescent. We like having just three hills overlapping on top of each other and some gradient green in the hills. Try having only one of the three having the furrow crop lines.

We understand the contest rules that state, "We require that you do not ask one designer to use elements or concepts from another Designer"; however, they also state, "Requests or ideas you have put in your contest Brief are fair game and open to everyone. Concepts that are considered obvious will also be fair game."

Because a picture of a farm, or crops are considered obvious, since we are a farm, I don't think we are violating the rules by pointing out that we like the hills and furrow lines of #104 and #102 and #71. That is more of the look we are going for.
