What We Do
Hacking Adulthood will be an online school with courses meant to help make navigating adulthood a lot easier. Target audience will be mainly people soon to be graduating college and recent grads. Logo needs to capture the essence of the first course focused on early career decisions (which industry to get into, types of companies, which line of work, preparing for interview), but be flexible to grow with me as I launch more courses around being an adult with adult responsibilities (renting your first place, why credit score matters, creating healthy habits to be productive, and more.)
Color Preferences
I usually gravitate towards blue. Maybe blue paired with gray, but I'm open to greens, yellows, purples.
Colors I'm less excited about, and don't associate with logo: reds, oranges, pinks
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Please look at the Stylistic Sliders/Themes + Style Inspiration logos. I don't want something that looks corporate or a logo for a security company. the Target audience will be in their early 20s so I want it to look modern and not serious/corporate. It's for an online school with courses, not a corporation.
A friend said: "When I think of Hacking Adulthood, I imagine cracking a code and opening a safe." I definitely DON't want an image of a safe but i like the concept of "cracking a code" which is where the hacking part comes in. Cracking/hacking a code is both a creative pursuit, as well as the display of knowledge built up over time. We learn to be better, well adjusted adults over time, and what I'm offering is a way to get that knowledge from me, who has learned many a things the hard, long way.
For more reference, this will go on the online course page:
"What I’m offering you on this course packs knowledge, experience, and ‘i wish i’d known’ nuggets of wisdom that comes with time. This course will help you in your decision making process, save you countless hours searching the web for templates, best practices, and documents no one tells you about, and provide some of the best practices I’ve picked up along the way! No illegal activities, just shortcuts to what you are looking for and creative ways to hack your way to your desired outcome in a more thoughtful and organized way."
