The font for the words needs to be explored further. Tagline could be much smaller- and a more crisp font for Gwinnett and magazine. There is something about the square and the G I really like. But the type treatment isn't working for me. Worth pursuing further variations!

I like the G.. maybe not in that odd shape.. more square

I like the box and treatment of the G. don't like the breaking up off the word. maybe one with square as you have but more straight forward type for the wording
