Whereas I see where you're going with this, my criticism would be that these designs feel, to me, like a re-shuffle of our existing logo. Not that they're bad by any means, but they're very close to what we have now, and we're looking to change things up a bit.
Now #17 is an interesting direction! I dig the roundness and how the font you chose seems to flow with that "round" feeling. Even the absence of a house as a visual device isn't missed. Definitely something to consider!
Okay, the good and the bad - when the logos were ranked, many commented that they liked the feel of #17, but still were worried that without the "house" involved, it wouldn't lend itself to cross-branding our properties. One person said, "what happens if the circle that the letter "i" is in were morphed into a house? Not something blocky, but round and with the gradient like the circle has? Almost like you stretch the circle into a house (yeah, I know, I thought that sounded odd, too).
Does that make sense? Basically, the feedback is, "I really like the feel, but really wish we could keep the concept of the "i" being in a house..."
At this point, #41 is the design we like best of the ones you've submitted so far. I, personally, also like #39, but we're having some internal disagreement over which is better, the circle with the oval for text, combined, as in $41, or just the circle without the oval as in #39. We're divided :-)
