What We Do
NOTE THE STYLE INSPO I SELECTED ARE NO WAY NEAR BOLD OR ICONIC ENOUGH. I WAS LIMITED BUY THE PRESECTED CHOICES.

No white backgrounds please.

Gunnas International is a ten day writing retreat in France. It's NOT a school. We don't want anything corporate or academic. This is a fun writing, travel adventure. Must have hints of France, fun and creativity (books/writing/words). Gunnas is for people who are 'gunna write, gunna write different, gunna write something new, something they are stuck on' etc. It's an amazing community of like minds and writers. Free thinkers, pleasure seekers, experience junkies. Very progressive. Ages 25 - 60. Mostly women (professional/artistic). Absolutely do not want a 'feminine' feel.Even though most (70%) of Gunnas are women, this is not like a typical women centric retreat. It's a retreat for all that attracts more women than men.

Our Ideas & Additional Information
I quite like the New Yorker font (NY IRVIN) Yes it's a writing retreat and yes its in France. I do not want obvious images (eiffel tower, berets, croissant) or colors (the french flag colours white blue red). Nor do I want nibbed pens or notebooks to indicate the writing element. Attached are some ideas for inspiration. The woman on the sun lounge with the sun rays is my original Gunnas Writing Masterclass logo. This is for my Australian classes. I would love the sunrays incorporated if possible (but not a deal breaker)

Discussion

Too corporate. No indicator of writing, travel or France. Could be designed by A1. This logo needs to be iconic. Rich in color and striking.

Could be interested in seeing something with more of an art nouveau font, with great colour. Not afraid of a background blocking colour. The retreat could move locations so a tiny interchangeable icon (for example, Eiffel for paris, Big Ben for london) could be possible but the overall feel should be international without being corporate.
