If you wish to see any further changes just let me know, thank you :)ray 12 years ago dcgreens Client we'd like to see a plant/seedling and a shovel in the wheelbarrow. We think that #3 is too cluttered (also we don't like the blue in the font).wheelbarrow doesn't have to be full. thanks! 12 years ago dcgreens Client We like # 7. Can we see more of the shovel so we know it's a shovel? A bit of the blade? And maybe a few more leaves on the plant so it doesn't look so sad? Also, I know it's hard to fir the words together the way you have them (which we like) and make the GROWING smaller, but the size of it is making the focus be on growing and we'd like the focus to be equally spread out somehow. Not sure what the solution is.Thanks! 12 years ago raymer Logo Designer Hi again, i will try some different styles for the text, as well as adding a new seedling and shovel blade and will upload shortly :) 12 years ago dcgreens Client Can we try stacking the words on top of one another to the right of the wheelbarrow, all the same size? And maybe adjusting the plant a little so it isn't so erect? 12 years ago raymer Logo Designer ..sure, i will make some more changes and will upload again soon :) 12 years ago dcgreens Client Thanks for making those changes. # 14 is interesting. Can the font; be the same (lowercase) as the one ranked #1? Also, we made some comments yesterday but I see they didn't go through. We thought it would be better to have the shovel handle be more like http://www.dmiblog.com/archives/2009/01/more_shovelready_transit_proje.htmlrather than just a bar. And could we see a bit more of the blade coming out. Thanks! 12 years ago raymer Logo Designer I will make the requested alterations and will upload shortly :)ray 12 years ago dcgreens Client Thanks Ray. I also wanted to add that we are trying to figure out how to convey that we are focused on not only using the garden to teach science but also cooking and nutrition education. I wonder if there is a way to do that without changing the logo too much, because we are really liking it. A chefs hat, a stock pot, a whisk? We really like the simplicity of this one versus the one that had all of the items inside the wheelbarrow. Thanks alot. 12 years ago dcgreens Client Can we see a version like #15 but without the chef stuff? The shovel is better, but we'd like to see one that is just shovel and seedling. (seedling my need to move back over slightly to the right when the cookware is removed...)Thanks! 12 years ago dcgreens Client ...and also, when you so that, could you go back to the font from #14? Thanks. 12 years ago raymer Logo Designer ..sure, i just uploaded #21 with the changes made :) 12 years ago dcgreens Client Thank you! 2 comments on #21: Can you "flatten" the handle of the shovel a bit. The hand-hole should be shorter and more flared (a bit more like a D on it's side...)Once you've adjusted that, can you do two more entries: one with the current font from #21, and one with the other font (from #15 and #17). One issue we had with the font in 15 and 17 was that the words were not the same size. Please keep them the same size in this round. Thanks! 12 years ago raymer Logo Designer ..sure, just uploaded #33 & #34 :) 12 years ago dcgreens Client Raymer, we are really liking this design. We are wondering how a few things would look:-can we try the dirt in the wheelbarrow brown-the plant looks a little squashed, can we bring the top leaf back up and maybe just have the whole thing lean slightly right?-could the word garden be enlarged a bit so the words align on both sides?-can the drop shadow under the wheelbarrow be strengthened a bit?We aren't sure we want them this way but would like to see how it looks. Many thanks!! 12 years ago raymer Logo Designer ..sure, i just uploaded #50 & #51 with the brown soil used and plant slightly going right. In #50 for the text, i used the same sized lettering but spaced it out a little. In #51 i actually enlarged the text keeping the previous spacing - hope that makes sense :)ray 12 years ago dcgreens Client We are really liking this. Could we play with something for a second? We're wondering if there might be a way to integrate the image with the text somehow. This might be a total mistake, but what if the plant grew a bit to interact with a bit of the lettering? Or maybe you have another idea? Maybe it's just as simple as putting a line under the whole thing so that they exist in the same space as each other? Again, it's possible that we're wrong about this direction, but we'd like to see it...Thank you! 12 years ago dcgreens Client One other thing: Can we see you just like #50, but with the outline of the wheel barrow in a dark grey instead of the black? Thanks! 12 years ago dcgreens Client We have a few requests on #53:We like the grey change on the wheelbarrow, but would like the handle and the tire to be black again (or whatever color you were using before).Would it be possible to see a draft where the leaf touches the 'G' of Growing? One way this might work is to make the text more step-wise, as opposed to aligned. You could shift the Growing to the left and shift the Teachers to the right some. This might require a longer drop-shadow or underline to keep the Teachers as a part of the whole. The other way would be to just grow the length of the plant more so that it touched the G.The green bubble effect around the logo in #54 doesn't work for us, though it might be nice to see a version with just a clean box around the logo. Thank you so much. 12 years ago raymer Logo Designer I will work on this some more for you later once i return home. I dont think the changes you mention will be a problem :)ray 12 years ago raymer Logo Designer I just uploaded ##66 #67 #68 with the leafs of the plant touching the letter G, there are two alternatives one with one leaf touching, and the other with two. I also applied a box around on the third upload :)ray 12 years ago dcgreens Client Ray,Thanks for the changes. After some consideration, we would like to see #53 with the wheel and handle of the wheelbarrow black, as in 66,67 and 68. We decided the leaves touching the words looks a little funny.Perhaps we could see the drop shadow under the wheelbarrow tire extend a bit so it touches the T of the word Teachers. And I know that word is aligned but for some reason it still looks like it is a bit further right than the other words, so maybe nudging it left just a hair would fix that. Thanks! 12 years ago raymer Logo Designer Sure, i just uploaded #61 with the changes made you requested :) 12 years ago raymer Logo Designer ..also #62 , which i have altered the garden text.. 12 years ago dcgreens Client #61 is almost there. There are a couple of things that we prefer in #53, so the next request is sort of a fusion of the two designs. Let's use #61 as the base for these edits (we like the extended drop shadow and the shifted font. Thank you.)- please restore the dark grey for the outline of the wheelbarrow's belly. We do want to keep the dark tone/black for the handle and the wheel. But we think that the main section of the wheelbarrow feels better as it appears in #53. - please shift the plant back to the angle that it is in #53. It seems to have gotten more upright in #61, and we like it at a bit of an angle to the right. Again- this is feeling pretty close. 12 years ago raymer Logo Designer ..just uploaded #63 :) 12 years ago dcgreens Client Hi there,These are just fine tuning points, but we'd like to see four more options:#63 with drop shadow back how it was before and "Teachers" moved one pixel (a smidge) back to the right.#63 with the drop shadow turned into a thin line that underlines the words entirely. This might require you to move the words up a touch (we think there should be a bit more space between the line and the words). Please move the Teachers a smidge to the right in this version too.Next two options are the same as above, but we'd like to see the all caps font again, please.Thank you! 12 years ago raymer Logo Designer I have just uploaded #67 & #68 with the shadows changed back and teachers moved slightly, and #69 & #70 with the larger shadow/line used :)ray 12 years ago raymer Logo Designer Hi there, i just uploaded #79, which is currently the preferred design but i have 'lowered' the text closer on to the line/shadow :)ray 12 years ago dcgreens Client Ray,Thanks for all of your hard work on this. We love #68!Let us know if there is anything you need from us. 12 years ago raymer Logo Designer Hi again, thanks for choosing my design for your contest, so glad you liked it :) I will upload the final files now, and should you require anything else, or have any problems, please just let me knowray 12 years ago
