#2: Great first entry to get us started. Let me help scope the subsequent entries and modifications.
The current logo has three roots to signify the three generations bound by care. We really didnt think that was obvious, or at first glance that the logo had anything to do with Sandwich Generation Month. This new logo should be able to stand alone and signify 'Sandwich Generation Month' during the month of July.
Ideas to think about:
1) This is a 'Sandwich Generation Logo', not a redo of our main Griswold Special Care corporate ID
2) The logo should say 'Sandwich Generation Month' somehow, somewhere
3) The words 'Griswold Special Care' do not have to appear on the logo, but use your creativity to tie the new Sandwich Generation Month logo into our existing brand.
4) The use of 'Three Generations Bound by Care' is optional, but we are interested to see some concepts with this tagline. The whole 'three generations' could stem a whole lot of ideas and direction on your creative.
5) We would like to see a few examples of our heart/house concept from our main corporate ID included. Not required, but it would be nice to integrate the heart/house part of our main corporate ID with the new Sandwich Generation logo.
6) Don't be afraid to play on the whole 'sandwich' theme. See notes on who the sandwich generation are and their pride and sacrifice caring for their own children as well their parents. This is the essence of the Sandwich Generation and something that would be great to see expressed in the new logo.
