Here are some of my concepts. I've gone for something that's fairly clean and simple, yet striking. Creating an icon that works well within the logo or as a stand alone element, one that can be used for things like favicons or watermarks.
The logos are 100% vector so will scale well to any size, and works well in full colour, B&W and on coloured backgrounds if needed,
It would be my pleasure to work up any variations so please do say. I look forward to your comments or thoughts.
I like the bright colors in the logo and the stand alone element. My company is also known as GES. I would love to see if you could some how make a stand alone element using GES. I would like to be able to put this logo on light and dark apparel. They have a uniqueness to them and I would love to see more like these . Thank you so much. Cindy
Thanks for the great feedback and comments, always appreciated :) Here are a few new iterations - and some I've shown that they will work nicely on light or dark coloured backgrounds.
Angus, I would like to see the GES above the Griner's and I like the way you used three colors in #17 & #18 so it works on dark or light apparel. I would like to see them in some other color combinations. I would also like to see the GES a little playfull. The reason I would like to see the GES above Griner's is because Embroider & Silk Screening is a lot of letters to embroidery on a left chest without making it to small. You are doing a great job, Thank You, Cindy
On #16 please refine the idea of the paint dripping in the color wheel. I think it is a great concept. On #17 please make the GES a litttle more dynamic. I would like it to stand on its own in certian applications and be memorble.
Sorry for the delay ... we're in the process of moving home (London) at the moment, so in between two houses. Will work on these changes later and submit asap.
Again apologise for the delay - moving home isn't always fun :) Here are a few new iterations of my concepts ... Different fonts, colours, and also refining the paint dripping.
Hi Angus, On #62 I love the little GES. Can be make Griner's a little softer maybe not so bold, hard. Trying to find the words. I wish you lots of luck with your move. Cindy
I just keep going back to #17. If I pick #17, when you provide the files will the GES in the circle be an object? I work in CorelDraw and will need to be able to import the file.
What would 17 look like if the GES was a different color than the background? Just say if I was to put the logo on a Light Blue shirt or brown, would I keep the GES White or the color of the shirt? Just thinking about how I would be using this logo. Thanks, Cindy
Sorry for the delay - I'm slightly ahead of you time wise as I'm in London :)
To answer your questions ...
At the moment the GES has been "knocked" out of the background circle elements, so there is nothing there at the moment. However that said I can convert it back to having an element there, and in two ways: (1) The full letters are there and white (at the moment the ends of the G and S go beyond the circle) (2) I can put all the letters that sit within the circle back in white i.e. leave of the edge of the G and S that are go beyond the circle.
Personally I think it would be better to have the entire GES letters as an element, as it gives more flexibility.
At the moment all my files are Illustrator, and as far as I'm aware you should be able to import Illustrator files straight into Corel no problems :) All the elements such as type have to be converted to outlines, but I can let you know what font I used :)
Hope that helps, and if you have any more questions please don't hesitate to ask away.
Just wanted to show you how with entries #75 and #76, how it could work with the GES as an element. What I've done is put the full GES as an element, and put it on a light blue background - #75 keeps the GES white, and #76 keeps its the same colour as the background.
Good morning, I should have told you both the stitching and the GES will need to be an object, that way I can screen it a differnet color if I wanted to. Will you need to provide one more logo to make sure the stitching is an element or if I pick #75 you will provide that in the files? Thank you so much for all your hard work, you communicated with me the best, and I appreciate that. I will talk to you soon. Cindy
