Hi! I like your entry #252 best of these 4. Would like to see letters gr in another color, maybe with the star in the same color? Some variant of blue might look good, not too keen on green I think. Thanks :-)
Thank you for your feedback and appreciation. Your contest is in "Top 5" mode which means that only the designers ranked from 1st to 5th place may submit new designs during this time. So, in order to see revisions from a specific designer, you simply put one of his/her designs anywhere from 1st to the 5th place (even if temporarily).
I've decided that I like it best with a small g and event in color and gr and the star in grey, but I want the color to be a blue color like #311 / #312. Font-wise I like the font in #301 better, but the letter e looks "closed". Any chance that could look a bit more like the e in #292?
Really looking good now, I really like it!! Not 100% sure if I want gr, event or just the v to be in color, but I can play around with that forever I guess :-) But the design is spot on :)
Have you used a font for the letters, or are they drawn? If it's a font I hope you will give me the name of it if this is the chosen one? Or if you can give me a recommendation for a font that'd look good as under-text or whatever? Thinking I might wanna add a slogan under revent in a smaller letter in the future...
And do you do webdesign aswell? I need someone to put together a very simple wordpress-site for me, I bought a theme but can't make it work properly...
Also, I read through a bit more of the contest-rules here now, probably should've done that earlier... If selected, I'd really like the original layered files aswell as the curved .eps, for if and when I wanna make slight adjustments in the future. Hope that's okay with you?
You're right, indeed. Regarding the color option, there are virtually unlimited combos.
Regarding the font, I started with a font called 'Horatio' but I heavily altered every letter. In case you'll choose me as the winner, I'll send you that font together with 2 font options for tagline.
I do only logo design but you can contact Andrei, a designer on this site, too. I know he does webdesign and you can send him a private message. Here is his profile: https://logotournament.com/logodesigners/andrei
I used Adobe llustrator to create the design, so I can send you the .ai file together with the mandatory .eps and .jpg files. As you probably know, the .ai and the .eps are both layered vector files and they both can be editable.
Left this aside for a few days to look at it with fresh eyes, as I had stared myself blind on the different designs... It's now clear to me that your design will be the winner :-) I would however, like to see some minor tweaks before I close the competition:
- When I saw the logo again now I have a slight problem with the design of the g... It kinda sticks out, it seems to me that the "upper part" is slightly bigger than the "lower part", if you see what I mean? Can you see if it's possible to alter it slightly to be more in line with the rest of the letters? - I think would look even better with a tiny bit more space between the letters. Not much, just a touch. Agree? - I'd like to see maybe 5 different options for the color of the v. Several of those I have gotten feedback from have advised me to choose a color that makes it stand out more, but they don't like the previous green/turquoise color, even if I kinda liked that... If you give me your recommendations for a color then I might see one that I really like, alternatively I can change it later myself.
As soon as I get these suggestions I'll choose one of them and close the competition :-)
Thanks very much for the files and fonts, that's great! I know that .eps can be layered, but the rules stated that you'd only be obliged to send me an outlined version with no layers, so if you can send me your original .ai file that'd be absolutely perfect :-) Also, thanks for the tip about Andrei, I'll be sure to contact him if I can't fix it myself :)
