Green Lantern Industries (aka Green Lantern)Logo Design Contest

I really like entry #1 and how it is like a lantern and also the flame idea. I would love to see more renditions and plays on lanterns with light. I would also like to see the addition of some color so it is not just variations of green.

I really like example #7 and 6's typeface of the text and how they designed the GreenLantern part. The logo is a bit busy and a bit too mushroom-esque though.

something like this but using a cartoon of a lantern like the two images of the lanterns that I've uploaded in my brief. The hand should come out on an angle from a dense fog holding a lantern like below in almost a 3D way

Wow, these are looking great. Our comany is an LED lighting company r.e.. "Green Lantern". Is there anyway to incorporate LED/LED'S as the source of light from within the lantern. A very white light as opposed to the warm color ? possibly an array of led's or even the letters LED within the lantern. If you want to incorporate a more modern lantern, that would be great also. These really are looking great, we would like a more modern, less tradional feel to our logo. Thanks again for all your brilliant contributions.

What we have in mind is something that synthesizes the name (which does have lantern in it which is old fashioned) with our vision for the future which is high tech and green. Thus we would like something a bit more abstract than entries # 20 or #29. Even something abstract like this: http://www.vertebrae.us/graphics/lantern_logo.gif
could work if it elicited some of our specific goals like energy, innovative solutions, environmentally positive.

Alot of the entries that have had the hand and the old fashioned, traditional lantern are a bit too cartoon-y so I think that we would like to see some ideas with a bit more architecture (but not too complex). We like the idea of where entry #39, #14 and #4 is going. We want to emphasize more of a technology, future image. Thank you for your input so far!

I really like entry # 60!!, Green Lantern is going to be a parent company to Currrent Ceilings, we have already decided on the logo for that. We would love to see this logo fit more closely with the subsidiary company (Current Ceilings) just in terms of maybe being on a similar axis and perspective (so its different but sort of similar). I've uploaded it so its in our brief. Thanks!
