Can we add the outline of Louisiana next to Texas and put a golf flag coming out of the location of Houston? Change the wording to LSU Houston Open

I like the addition of Louisiana and the two tone color for the states. "Greater" does not need to be in the wording. Could I see a version without the tiger in Texas and a version without the golf balls circling? What would it look like if there was no balls circling, no tiger in Texas, and the states were one color with an outline in the other color?

The black stick doesnt provide enough contrast to the purple. Can we change the stick to gray?
How would #17 look without the star, using text like #16 but space the text down a bit so they dont overlap and could be separated if necessary.

What would it look like if we did Texas and Louisiana as one color (or one cohesive unit) and then threw the eye of the tiger in. In other words: the eye of the Tiger shaped into the Texas Louisiana logo.

I don't like #43 and #44 because the states touch the circle, it will be difficult to separate the two parts of the logo (which we will do some of the time). I still want the states to appear a bit larger somehow

What would #50 look like with the interior yellow line around the states like #42?
I think #50,51,52 are getting close, but would still like to see what it would look like if the flag was adjusted to look like the flag of the state of Texas in Purple and Gold instead of the little triangle flag (http://www.takemebacktotexas.com/hello-world/ ) using Purple, Gold, and White instead of Red, Blue, and White
