Thank you for participating! Welcome! Striking entries. I think the font in "Great Works" is somewhat distracting, and I think the word "Chiropractic" is spread a little too thin? While I like the incorporation of an image into the "o" in "works," I don't want spines. As I posted to the group, one of my examples had an interesting bit of sun imagery that I was drawn to for its strength and implications. And am also not sure that green is what I want for my logo. Maybe try other colors like deep purple or golden yellow?
Last night when I was tired, I saw the sun efforts, and was at first not sure about them. Looking at them again, though, your next set of entries is much more striking and appealing than your first set. Definite improvements! The font choice is much stronger. The rising sun is an attractive idea, but it also looks hollow somehow. I look at this and worry that since the Great Works River is a local landmark, and many businesses share the name, that if "chiropractic" is too understated people might miss it. I don't, of course, but I want it to be obvious. At this time, I feel #36 is the most successful using the O for a design element in white, and #35 is the best application involving a sun....it is really striking. Is it just a trick of the eye that the smaller letters in Great look a little larger in font than the smaller letters in Works? Please also see general comment, as I have a design element I would like to see that the group should all be aware of. This is some cool stuff!
Thank you for the detail feedback, yes the letters in the "Works" are the same with the "Great" except it is kind of small looking because it was split a bit from each other by the wordmark the sun. Making new updates for your review thank you for consideration.
Wow!!!!! #93 and #94 are just stunning. Could chiropractic be in a larger font without compomising the design? I like the others, too, but these really struck me. Could the family design you submitted look a little more like these? I like many of your designs, and I see some designers have been pulling some of their submissions...I would like to ask you to do me a favor and please not pull any of yours yet. Thank you!
Could the family theme in #135 somehow be rendered as elegantly as the sun and river theme from #133 and #136? Do you feel that "chiropractic" stands out enough? I am not saying it does or doesn't....just asking you to consider it. Also, any other tricks up your sleeve? You have come so far, and if there's anything else knocking around in your head, I'd love to see it.
Did you go smaller with #136 on the text "chiropractic?" How come? Was that part of the bad download? Could you do the image from #136 in the same style as entry #137? One of the other designers is accusing theft...is that going to ruin the contest? I don't know what to do...I simply assumed you were all borrowing from each other as the filed got narrowed down, and my preferred concept started coming to light.
Not a problem it was resolved in a dispute system with logotournament he claims the arc/eclipse concept was his idea but overall it was a common element of design & very different in execution frankly I didn't copy him or anything I created my own from scratch.
Hi there, the logotournament contests works as the designers each submit their entries much be unique from the other. By the given logo samples you attached these makes a general elements to be used in the process making your logo but the idea/concept take place here it is not meant to be copied when the first designer have submitted these ideas like example in my case: I have designed in the w"O"rks as the O given in your samples. The design your referring that have been remove was conceptualized first by me also with #36 this is my idea of having the person inside the "O" must not be copied by others like Lilia's design she also have the style in "O" but this conflicts the rules and so on she have understood this that is why the entry was removed. Hope you understand thanks feel free to ask questions :)
Hi, I have been sleeping on these, and I like your design #133 best. I am not sure that "chiropractic" in blue is quite what I want, though. Can I get a revision where there is an accent line (between the top text elements and the bottom--see examples posted in the initial contest description), and render "chiropractic" in white, and a little bit larger and bolder, as well as the same described above, but without a dividing accent line?
My one concern is the design will not show on embroidered shirts and the like. Could I get the mark placed as in #136 and #143 as well with the same textual changes if I like the changes to #133? This way if I do a test print, i have one with a larger O that might embroider more easily for unifroms?
Good day, its been a while making the changes in progress. I have auntie's who sew & make embroider design I think a bolder typeface will do best and the icon would be much visible. Thanks updating the entry for options.
Thank you! It is down to #208, #206, #203, #202 or #200. It is hard to tell, but I held up a piece of paper to a couple of them, and "Chiropractic" is not centered and justified under "Great Works." I would like the edges to match up exactly, and then judge from there. Once i see these, I will narrow it down to one, and then maybe one small change option. Thank you for such great work!
Hi there, Here are some updates with the selected: #212, #213, #214, #215, #216 - all the typeface are centered in canvas & corrected the lengths to have the same value. Thank you for continued support also this contest will be my 100th gold achievement :)
#215 is almost it. I think the size of the letters in Chiropractic overwhelms Great Works. Try the size of letters like 205 (about the size of the smaller letters in "great works". Also, for comparison, a golden yellow center line, and a deep royal purple. Thank you! Can't wait to start using this!
Is "Chiropractic" still centered to "Great Works?" It looks slightly shifted left. I would like the river to stay blue. Can we see a golden yellow line? Almost got it. Thanks! I like the color from #220, #219 and #217. Please just fix centering if it's off, and make the river the bright blue. Just that, and one option with a colden yellow dividing line. Thank you!
Hows this: #221, #222 Yes the "chiropractic" is aligned centered with the "great works" & the line in between. I think visually looking at the "C" in the beginning of Chiropractic & to the last "C" makes it unbalance because it is rounded at first then hollow in the end of the "C". Anyway it is assured centered as the design in the canvass :) Thanks.
just want to see #217 and #219 with the river in the original blue inside the o. Will have a decision in a few hours when my partner is in to weigh in her opinion. This is really great. Thank you.
Hi! Just waiting to see versions with the river in the original blue color instead of changed to the line color for #217 and #219. As you can see, I'm very excited over this now...can't wait for final to be done!
#223 is it. I'm in the middle of a rush, but will finalize the contest shortly. I will please need to know the font used for the top and bottom textual elements to use in promotional materials and etc. Would it be possible, also, to get a really nice high res version of the sun and river in the O?
The top font: Trajan Pro while the bottom: Optima will send these fonts for your use after the contest. Yes the icon I'll make separate files for this with hi-res files & vector.
Hi, last revision request: for #223 and #221, can you render the word "chiropractic" in the size and style of #133? Keep it white, but just in that shape and style? Thank you ever so much.
Thank you. Doesn't work as well. May I have #221 and #224? I am torn between the line colors and one tone vs. two tone/"shining" sun. That way I don't have to delay this any longer. I will also need it rendered with letters in black on white background for letterhead and the like, please. Thank you! Actually, clear background, if possible, would be more functional..
A single-color version would be useful, too, for tshirt and promo material printing, one black, one white, both on clear background, if possible. Thank you! Great logo!
