Graze - The Sapphire CoastLogo Design Contest

Great simple idea but not taken by the typeface for Graze and icons might be better reflecting Seafood - maybe fish illi, Land - maybe cow illo ? Fork is great way to get quickly but forks get used alot. We are not big on wine if that is what the bubble reflect. Good work though

Thank you for the feedback. The dots are meant to represent soil, the waves are meant to represent water... all in the most simple way possible. I agree that forks are often used to represent food, but it seems you may want people to instantly associate this logo with food.

I have a question for you. What kind of typeface are you looking for? Would you prefer something humanist (looks kind of handwritten), serious (think bank or lawyer), or something more modern (crisp and clean)? Thanks in advance :)

I like the modern - crisp - clean. San Serif in most cases. You can see this coming out in my original top 5 - i do like the handwritten simple and relaxed.

I uploaded another variation with a more handwritten-looking typeface and also with a different treatment on the edges of the boxes. If you like the typeface, but not the box edges (or vice versa) just let me know.

Hi - i like the new boxes - typeface is closer but not working for me - the z is messy. slightly thicker lines as well

Do you happen to have any specific typefaces that you like? The trouble with humanist typefaces is that they can be a) hard to read, b) too juvenile or c) kind of messy. If you have some that you know you like it would be helpful... I have over 2,000 typefaces on my computer :)

Typeface is good but not balancing with illustrations
As above overall layout seems out of balance - look at adjusting boxes in comparison to Graze or re-jig the typeface to balance
Can you have one line for - Sapphire Coast - and change this to - Sapphire Coast NSW -
