A major problem for those challenged with mental health disorders who have gone to jail is finding effective reentry programs that can focus on keeping the community safe while wrapping necessary socialization and mental health care for them on release. In California nearly 80% of those released from jail or prison return withing 3-years. Gray Haven will open in July 2020 and eventually host up to 50 residents with professional mental health staff. The main house is a reconstructed beautiful three story Victorian, surrounded by flowing lawns, fruit trees, and painted off white with deep purple accents lining the exterior.
