Wow! We're off to a strong start. Thanks for your quick turnaround. I really like the clean, strong fonts with a somewhat abstract symbol best so far. Nice work!

Another thought... these all will look good in print or for web use, but as a promotional products distributor I will also use the logo for screen printing and embroidery. I think the vignette (entries #5 & 6) would be difficult to embroider and might not be legible. Hope this is helpful. Thanks!

Impressive work! I can't believe we're less than 24 hours into this and I've already received such strong entries. My thoughts so far... I really like the creative use of a G and E. Love the use of positive/negative space. And here's one more idea in case you find yourself struggling with the G&E thing - I have a tagline "where ideas are born" so the icon could somehow tie in with that. I attached my old logo that uses an icon of a flower bud, but it's way too simple. I'm not an illustrator so perhaps you could come up with a cooler version or a different angle? I was a bit hesitant to mention this because I don't want every entry to be a flower bud - I'm open to suggestions but just wanted to put it out there. I believe the symbol/icon/graphic must have some relevance as opposed to just looking good. I hope this is helpful! I'm impressed so far!!

I am absolutely blown away by the talented designers on this site. I thought I was a good designer until I posted my logo! Haha! I love what I see so far. Feedback... several of you are using a muted lime green. I prefer bright, vibrant lime green (ie. PMS 376) and brighter orange (151), etc. Love the green/grey combination and also the orange/grey combination. Also, on the logos that use a gradient or shading, please make sure it can stand alone without these elements too. Sometimes it will be used as a one color logo on an ad specialty item where all the colors & shading aren't an option. (I'll use the colorful & shaded versions on print & web though.)

Thank you so much for all your entries! At this point, I'm leaning toward graphic edge being all in lower case. I prefer the word "edge" to be in a heavier weight than the word "graphic." It can be one word or two, but if it's one word, then some type of separation looks best, such as edge in a different color, etc. I really like the lime green colors (pms 376 or 368). I'd love to see some pink! (pms 205, 219, or 225) I've just learned that orange (151) doesn't reproduce well in cmyk so I'm probably going to steer clear of orange. Any of these colors look great mixed with grey or black. I'm looking for a solid, strong icon that can be used alone or with the "graphic edge" words. PIcture the icon embroidered on the front of a cap. Once a winner is chosen, I'd love to have a fancied-up version for web use. (with all the shadowing, metallic treatment, etc) I just can't use it everywhere. It's difficult to provide general feedback but I hope this is helpful! Thanks again!

I'm glad to see more great entries still rolling in. There's just no end to the creative talent out there! There are already several concepts I love. It's a difficult decision. One day left - best of luck to you all!!
