This overall design and typography represents the band in precise formation on field. Colorguard in the middle forms a star which conveys excellence and pride. That single star also denotes your location in the lone star state of Texas and references the TX flag. When competing nationally, the marks helps distinguish the group and I feel that the simplicity and symbolism perfectly communicates the core values of the Pirate Band and Granbury ISD.
True that! If the colorguard needs a logo, I think you've got the basis - for sure! Nice... I think the rest of the band (who's spending the $350) will want the other design elements such as the horn and such. Thanks!!!
