Dear Hibban, This was a very nice alternative but my colleagues still like your round image quite a lot.
Please use the gray cowelling under this trailer (#84) to replace the yellow cowelling on #78.

Hi Hibban, I just consulted my colleagues and they put yours back in the #1 position! Congratulations.
Note: They all want the yellow cowelling under the trailer to be gray. Please make that change, and that will but us very near the finish line!

This comment repeats the comment I made on a newer logo that had 3 stars: Can you keep this truck the same size but include the 3 stars that you had on the newer logos (the ones with black in the outer circles? It's like my garden beds: even numbers of things usually don't look right. 3s, 5s and 7s usually produce a more appealing visual geometry. Add this 6th change to the 5 above and I think you will make your logo unbeatable!

We like the 3 stars on this one. But original is still #1. Without making the truck image smaller, can you have the same 3 stars in the original one?

Dear Hibban: So far, you are still in the lead! One is moving up on you but you are still the primary interest of my colleagues. Here is what I need to keep you in the lead. The new logos with black in outer circle are good but this one is still ranked higher. Keep this same logo in all respects but change as follows:
1. Make "GFC" the same blue as in the outer circle.
2. View this web site: http://aerotechcaps.com/?gclid=CIGs4oP3684CFYpkhgodxQMPmQ to see under-portions of a commercial trailer.
2. Note that the wheels are under the trailer's bottom edge. Move wheels under the trailer.
3. Bump both ends of truck farther out of the circle just like you did in the newer versions (but keep these colors - no black in outer circle or black stripes b/t red stripes).
4. No mirrors on the truck (newer versions had mirrors.
5. No GFC on the side of the power unit; GFC only on trailer (and changed to blue).
Please make these changes and I think you will maintain your lead or improve it. We really like what you are doing!

I have uploaded the revisions #64 tried to remove the circle outside to make it not busy. also #65 tried to make it clean. One of your request "the flag on side of the trailers" i cannot do this because other designer already have this idea. but we can still continue work after contest complete. What do you think?

Nice job. This keeps getting better. I know my Chairman would like to see this when we consult in the morning. But he specifically asked if we could:
1) move the GFC to the door of the power unit. The outline of the cab door may need to be solid black to do this. Then put the "GFC" on the side of the power unit. 2) put a flag on the side of the trailer with the blue field of wihte stars in the top lest of the trailer's side. To do this you may need to change the background of the inner circle. In the morning I'd like my chairman to have the one you just did, and one with the above changes, to work from. Very nice. A good update on the truck.

I just talked to my Chairman and this one is in the lead! Congratulations to date. Front end of truck much better. Here is what we would like to see: 1) push front end of truck outside of circle and end of trailer also outside of circle. 2) Very important: add a US flag to side of truck. Put the blue field of white stars in top left of trailer. 3) Put "GFC" on door of truck power unite. Might need to put it vertically, what do you think? This one is leading the pack!

I really like this. Can you add flag to side of trailer with blue field of white stars in the top left of the side? Add details to power unit. Provice me with a version that has dark blue background behind "Government Freight" and red behind "Conference?" Very nice. It's a contender.

This is quite good. Can you use think black lines to sharpen the image of the truck image? Make it look less impressionistic and more realistic? And give the tires some beefy shoulders? This is a contender.

Thank you for your reply. Let me suggest you go to truck manufacturers web pages to see modern truck pictures. Look at: 1) Peterbuilt, 2) Volvo & 3) Freightliner to get idea of what a modern truck looks like. Make sure wheels & tires are do not look like doughnuts. -- not fat whitewalls reminiscent of the 1950s. A beefy strong tire with shoulders would be a stronger image.

Trucking executives liked this round approach that made "Government Freight Conference" more prominent. Reservations are: 1) tire looks like a balloon tire of the 1950s, 2) overall truck looks like 1950s vintage, not sleek and modern as desired.

Also, font for "Government Freight Conference" is too small.

Pretty good but looks too much like an old bus or an RV. Trucks have distinct power unit and visual separation b/t power unit and trailer. Google Freightliner, Volvo and Peterbuilt to view modern truck models. Make image look more like a modern truck, not a 1940s passenger bus.

Not artistically appealing or sufficiently modern. also lacks truck image.

Very good for an acronym logo. But prefer something with Class 8 truck (think 18 wheeler) image to distinguish us from rail and maritime carriers.
