Color Preferences
Blue and green will be OK, but it doesn't have to be blue and green. Don't restrict yourself to obvious earthy/environmental colours.
'fresh' and 'sophisticated' is what we are looking for. Not to cartoon-y or child like. It is for professional businesses so needs to be sharp.
We like to polish of the Earthcheck logo linked below and in our attached document.
We also like a 'mac' aesthetic. for example logos like Mailchimp, Exam Professor, and DropBox are all very web friendly and have a polish about them. Their theme is too playful but their clean-ness is excellent.

Our Ideas & Additional Information
This is an example of a similar program's logo and we think their's is a beautiful logo. It is fresh, clean, unique, and sophisticated. http://www.farsouthtasmania.com/Assets/Images/Earthcheck%20Logo2009%20-%20New.jpg
