These look really good. I'm liking entry #3 and #5. I changed the name on the website - i don't know what i was thinking before to 'Golfn' Dude (with a small 'n' and the apostrophe after the n').
Entry #4 would would a favorite if the golfer was the same green as #3.
As for the tagline, i'm not completely sold on it in my own head - I've been trying to come up with something that resembles 'everything golf'. If you have any ideas throw them in there
Would I be able to get the GnD with the golfer part of entry #5 to fit in my twitter profile photo? As a separate from the site name and tagline if I was to go with something like that one?
and I don't even know if a caricature would be the way to go but trying for something different.
i do really like your entry #5 design though.
I've been told that I should raise up to the other level, which I didn't even notice when starting this contest, but hey money's tight. Tough world these days. I'll have to see and go from there.
how would it look with the ball in the 'o' as in #18? I think I don't mind the bearded look in this thing gives it a little more colour. Were you able to try one without it? No big deal. just curious.
Entry 20 and 22 are my favorites. Really like the color swirls on 20 but the subtle one on 22 is catching my eye also. can we see entry 22 with the ball on top of the 'o'?
for those ones, can we also see how incorporating the tagline 'All the Good, Ugly, and Cool Golf Stuff You'll Ever Want to Know!' Likely underneath.
Hi, Here on LT we do all the designs proportional to LT portfolio preview. When the client picked the winner, we can upload 2 final files for their review (.JPG - maximum resolution and .EPS - the VECTOR file). After the final files are approved we are able to send you all the additional color-size-layout variations as well as .PNG formats via email. We can also tweak the design if required later on, it's not a problem.
i think i asked this before...can I use just the image only for my twitter pic and the 'golfn' dude' wording outside the twitter profile box somehow? Make sense?
as for the images -- it's either going to be entry #37 with entry #32 tagline font style and color. or entry #37 with 'Dude' on the other side with entry #32 tagline font style and color.
As for the tagline - unless I can just change it - entry #37 but remove the 'Bad'. Everyhting else is good.
You guys are the experts - will the 'dude' under or 'dude' on the other side work better? no idea.
Yes, you can use the image without text. Besides, it's always possible to change the layout of the design if necessary. I am really interested in best placement of my designs an will be happy to help you with that.
They are all variations of the same design. Even though, we can upload only variation ranked 1st as the Final File (.JPG and .EPS format), you can have all other color-font-layout variations later on, after you approve the Final File.
I have a question for you...if you go to my site - golfndude.com - your image will appear where golfn' dude is. Assuming I go with number 39 my concern is all the open space to the right. Would it be possible to have a golf ball 'taking off' to the right. I'm picturing the ball starts small and as elevating gets bigger. preferably a white ball with partial dimples type thing.
I really do like your guys' designs. And I appreciate the work you've done and making it easier for me to review and understand
As I've told you before - any layout is possible to change and adjust. I am sorry, but we have no rights to discuss any other work with the clients before the end of the contest. I hope, you understand. Thanks.
Just follow the instructions :) You must to choose 3 different designs for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and any designs you like for the rest of "top ten". 1st ranked designer have to upload Final Files for your review. If final files look OK, you have to approve (there is a button, I guess) to finalize the contest. All the variations and adjustments you will receive via email.
Ok. I've closed the contest. #39 is it. I'm assuming I'll be able to communicate with you for variations, etc? I believe you said that you'll be uploading 2 variations to look at.
