Golf MarathonLogo Design Contest

Let's avoid replacing a letter in golf marathon with a symbol or having any part of 54 holes. 1 Great Cause inside a symbol...makes embroidery tough.

Let's keep the flag after Marathon. I like the concept of a flag in a hole but let's find a different flag/ hole graphic

Let's have GOLF be more bolded than MARATHON so that it doesn't look like it runs together...remember I'll need the GOLF MARATHON logo to look great and distinguished in one color, too

Also, place the 54 Holes. 1 Great Cause. under GOLF MARATHON.

Have the hole (where the flag inserts) line up with the 54 Holes. 1 Great Cause line and have the flag then extend above the N in MARATHON.

I'll be placing different sponsor logos above the GOLF MARATHON so having the flag extend above will work great.

so what going to be done about dazzle using Blue's Easy 2 Golf logo?

i didn't and i never did, me and Julian talked about this matter earlier before anyone coming out and saying it is a copy just outta the blue without really focusing much into it.

Tagg3r, said above, looks like same logo, then corrected himself and said sorry same visual i meant, so it might look similar when you visual it as a general outline idea. If you look into it closely enough and details of it, you will find out its not and never was.

Also be logic here, people would use the following elements to represent a golfing game or an idea related to golf " flag, golf ball, golf bat, someone swinging a golf ball, etc " right ? would we go on blindly saying they copied each other ? while they didn't and thats not the real case here ?

i didn't say for example that stefkoum copied me, although he is using the same general elements i mentioned, but from the look of it, its similar but you can tell easily its not copying and if you look into mine and blue's more closely in the other contest and put them beside each other, you will find more " no relation " and " unsimilarities " that would be easily spotted then the similar ones.

so again, all i really care about is the actual designer himself and he assured me and knew that i didn't copy his idea and that mine wasn't a copy, looking similar in the basic outline general idea doesn't mean its a copy, there is a thin line between both and pro designers would be able to spot the difference.

i hope i don't see more people coming out of the blue and just throwing such words and accusations blindly about looking similar and make it look so and thats not the real case.

Daz, You seem to be a pretty straight up guy... I still think the element you used on your design is still a P/U of Blues logo that just won the other day. Bottom line is if you did talk to him before posting it, and he didnt see a problem with it then its all good.....

Dazzle is damn right in the analysis of the issue. I had to withdraw a logo from Thredasy contest because someone did not like the fact that I had an idea similr to it (although the final feel and style was miles appart...)
