I like a distinctive component to the logo like a Nike Swoosh or the bishop or the world as in the two I have ranked as my favourites.

A logo related to Africa may also be effective.

I would really like this firm to become a "Firm of Endearment" like Whole Food Market or REI where the main objective is purpose rather than profit.

I definitely like a standalone symbol either as part of the name or standalone.

Why has everyone gone for blue ?

As a general comment, perhaps less conservative and more modern. Slightly cheeky - to challenge the established industry.

Maybe an icon with a human character - just a thought. An icon that can change slightly depending on the circumstance with a little humour. Like Google does with a little Father Christmas hat or something small that is relevant to the particular circumstance.

Also like an icon that is simple, distinctive and unmistakable - an icon like Apple's apple or the Nike Swoosh.

There are many excellent logos - thank you very much. I will spend some more time tomorrow ranking them. There are a number a like. I want to get input from a few other people.
