Comment to design #23. I really like the crawling baby, the black and white, and the balloon. Perhaps the baby could be placed underneath Go Baby Go, and the line to the balloon behind the letters and come on top of the text? And I would prefer to use capital G, so it stands stronger....

Thanks

Sorry - I see that "cool" is a vague term. Try a more simple font like the one you use in the beginning of the Plastimea logo. Or a stronger font, that stands out a bit more. Not so childish perhaps. I really like the crawling baby silhuette, so I hope we can work something out.

Thank you.

Excellent! Thanks for letting me know.

I'll be submitting a new version with the same font used with Plastimea later this afternoon.

Thank you for the elaboration. I'll let you know when the new version is ready.

Hello!

I have now uploaded two new versions for you to take a look at. They both incorporate the same text I used with Plastimea. I've used it in two ways, in case you happen to be interested in both. One way is all caps, the other is with just the first letter of each word capitalized (so you have a capital "G" and "B" and "G" there).

I've made the text stand out in an obvious way from the balloon string, so it is clear that the balloon is behind it, and not fused to the text or in front of the text either. This gives the design depth, and helps the viewer's eye understand where the text is in relation to the balloon. This also helps with the viewer understanding the "floating" feeling of the balloon as well.

If you have any suggestions or requests, do not hesitate to contact me. I'll happily oblige any requests you may have.

Jennifer

Hi Jennifer,

Thank you for the new versions. Like the baby and the balloon under the text. Prefer #61, where it's only the first letter in capital. But now I'm a bit troubled, because now I think it has become a bit too "perfect" - perhaps you could try to squeeze the letters together, so there is no space between, and play with some different fonts... A more playful and delicate font. Perhaps "Segoe UI Light", would fit well? Or the first font, just with capital front letters and sqeezed together...
Could you also make less space between the text, baby and balloon - make the line shorter. Sorry, know it's not easy.

Thanks!

Hi Fie,

I've now made the distance shorter between the text, baby, and balloon, and squeezed the letters closer together as well. Also, I've removed the shadow effect from the text -- it really wasn't necessary, and added to the heaviness of the former text used there.

As to the kind of fonts themselves: I have now used a lighter weight of the font used in #61; it's closer to what I believe you're striving for. That new entry is #77. And I've also created an entry with Segoe UI Light, which is entry #78.

No need to apologize for anything, Fie -- it's not supposed to be easy or immediate, so that was never any expectation of mine! It's a process that takes time and effort, so this is actually very normal. In fact, you are making less requests than many other Clients I've encountered, so honestly -- never think you're being any trouble at all. I actually encourage that Clients communicate their thoughts to me, as it makes the whole process reach a successful conclusion sooner.

Best to you as well,
Jennifer

Hi Jennifer,

Could you please make #78 in grey, and with no space between the letters, so it says GoBabyGo. And it would also be great to see it without the baby, so with only the balloon.

Thanks from

Hello Fie,

I've changed up the layout as requested; smooshed the letters some more, the color has been adjusted, et cetera. How do these work for you? I stacked the letters ontop of each other as well, so you could get a feel for how it would look with different layouts.

P.S.: You'll notice that the last entry, #169, has a little something "extra" -- a shine effect. I just realized that a shine effect could give it an extra level of depth, much in the manner of the white lines giving depth to the silhouette of the crawling baby. Hope you like it.

If there are any further revisions you'd like me to make, or any different kinds of styles you'd like me to explore, let me know. I'll be happy to do it, and do what I can to help you get the design you want.

Jennifer

Hello Fie,

Just want to let you know: we're in Top 5 mode now. That means that the top 5 ranked Designers are the only folks who can submit revisions to you. If you need me to submit anything, you'll need me to be ranked as one of the first 5 Designers before I can do so.

Regards,
Jennifer

P.S.: It's been great working with you!

Hello,

I am attempting to submit several revisions, but am unable to. I believe they're exactly on the mark; I cannot submit them though because I am not in the top 5 Designers. If you choose to re-rank me so that I may submit these revisions, making me one of the first 5 Designers in the contest, and you don't like these brand new versions (they're fresh re-boots), you can always de-rank me later after that, because ranks are not set in stone.

I hope you like them, though; they're really lovely. I do not believe you will be disappointed!

Hi Jennifer,

#242 looks really great!! Love the new font, and the detail with the balloon.

Still unsure if we are going for the more simple look or with baby and balloon. Appreciate both versions. However, if we deside to expand the business with other things, it would be great not to have the crawling baby....

Will return soon.

Best, Fie

Hi Fie,

I've submitted a couple new versions for you. One has a toy plane above the letters, sort of put-putting across the horizon. It almost begs the viewer to root for it to go, go, go. :)

Another one has a stuffed teddy bear tied to a balloon, going up, up, up in the sky. The bear is going further and further! Very cute, I must say.

And, one other has just a balloon floating up toward the sky, going higher and higher. It's a more sophisticated version than previously submitted, when done so with Segoe UI Light text. The balloon in this one has a flowing, curly tail; it matches the flow of the type that's paired with it.

Hope you like these! :) Have a great day.
