Top Three Things to Communicate

#1 - Quality
#2 - Value
#3 - Environmentally friendly

Our Target Audience:

30-50 year old, primarily male, body shop managers, repair shop owners, mechanics, do-it-yourself types and the value conscious public. These are people who make the decicion to choose certain suppliers for their used auto parts. Mostly blue collar, hard working people that expect to get what they pay for and the correct part for a fair price.

Color Preferences

Shades of green- nothing florescent or real dark unless its lettering or outline. Orange tones, accents, lettering ok. Black. Tan. Grey. White. Feel free to use a few...we think it might be too busy with all of them.

Our Ideas and Additional Information:

Our name "GO Auto Recycling" is a play on our parent company's name- Green Oak Investments. We liked the strength of the tree and green symbolizing environmentally friendly, recycling and reuse. The idea that the name is also a statement is not lost on us and we liked the fact it is exactly what we want our customers to do...go auto recycling! We do not want to see anything with a car, wheel, car part or flag recycling symbol or any other typical icon seen in our industry. The logo should be on the simple side and convey our idea of providing quality recycled auto parts to value conscious consumers. Something crisp and recognizable. The most commonly seen application will be on our trucks. We would like this logo to appeal to customers nationwide, not focusing on any specific geography. Something that is stylized around the word "GO" comes to mind but please don't limit yourself to that concept. I'll try to give everyone that submits feedback. Thanks!

General Comment....please try different shades of green, and GO stands for Green Oak, so if we can design something that incorporates a tree that may work, however, please no leafs as a competitor in our space actually has a leaf as a logo....

Also please submit all entries on a white back ground. This will allow us to better evaluate the logo as it will be used on many different items with different background colors.

I will be leaving all entries in the ranked category. Will only move withdrawn entries to non-interesting. Hope this helps with some extra points for the design work you have done! Thanks and keep all the great ideas coming. I'm really impressed by the talent here!
