What We Do
The International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA) is launching a logo design contest for its landscape architecture knowledge hub: Global Landscape Architecture Mapper (GLAM), a platform aimed at enhancing knowledge sharing and collaboration within the landscape architecture community, as well as for anyone engaged in or interested in landscape architecture. This contest invites designers to create a logo that embodies the essence and mission of the GLAM.
The GLAM serves as a comprehensive resource for landscape architecture practitioners, scholars and students. The GLAM website empowers its audience to search for, access, and navigate a wide range of content across multiple themes, including landscape education, projects and professional practice, organizations, jobs, products, and media. Users can easily explore these categories to find relevant information tailored to their interests and needs.
The platform aims to foster professional profile building, facilitate knowledge sharing, support education, and enhance policy and mobility initiatives. The logo will represent these core functions and resonate with a diverse international audience including practicing landscape architects, aspiring students, potential clients, and government employees.
Target audience: The design must appeal to a broad audience including landscape architecture practitioners, scholars, students, clients, policymakers, and anyone interested in planning, designing and managing natural and built environments.
