What We Do
Target audience is women early 20s to mid 40s into yoga, natural remedies, and aromatherapy.
We provide essential oils purely for aromatherapy with no medical claims or promises. We source and lab test all product to deliver quality materials for a reasonable price. The marketing decision behind the name and style recommendations are to play on pop culture.
Logo will be used on website, cards, marketing materials and custom boxes for delivering monthly products.
I'm ok with black and white. The site will likely be a white background simple ecommerce site. We plan on selling monthly boxes on sites like cratejoy.com. The intent for the box design was a grey or charcoal color, and I wanted to do the logo and text in a gold font. This would be the inverse of the site with a white background. I figured a high contrast logo would be easy to invert for the box design.
Our Ideas and Additional Information:
The name Glinda is a classic pop-culture reference to the good witch in The Wizard of Oz. I wanted to present a fun brand that invokes a fond memory for things like Bewitched and Wizard of Oz, but without violating trademarks and copyrights.
I think using a renaissance style font maybe script or a calligraphy font for a classy and luxurious feel.
I would like the design to inspire a sense of classy, sexy, empowerment and luxury.
Maybe consider making the "i" in Glinda a wand with the dot in the i being a shining star.
