GlendonLogo Design Contest

I like aspects of all the designs I have ranked so far. The ones that are Saloon like or VERY elegant are nice, but not what I am going for. My only concern even with the ones that I have ranked is that they come off very corporate looking. We are going to be a boutique restaurant & lounge, not a massive chain. Really want to ride that fine line between elegance and modern cool and fun. #1, #5 & #6 are the closest to what I like so far, but still nothing that jumps off the page. Thanks for all the entries so far!

Would like to see some options in a Silver coloring! Been getting some feedback from women that the overall design is very masculine and they would like to see the logo softened up. Not sure if I want to go that route, but it is worth looking into some options if you can think of some!

We have gotten lots of options with the name in different fonts... from here on out I think we are looking to see some more creativity out of the logo. Not saying that the previous way isn't what we will end with such as the highest ranked ones, but we would like to see the logo with more involvement. Perhaps a "G" in a box??? Not sure... so far we have nice layouts and fonts, not sure if we have a "logo".

I would like to see some images with the logo.... perhaps a Martini Glass, Wine Glass and Beer Pint.

Can I see some options utilizing both the gold and silver colors in the same design? Really like seeing the"g" in a box at the begenning of Glendon or perhaps a pronounced "G" above the word "Glendon"

I have changed the direction of the brief a bit... please take a look. Not saying that some of the options we have aren't what we end up with, but so far nothing jumps off the page for me and I feel the right logo should. Biggest concern so far is that everything is to safe and corporate looking. We are classy yet trendy and hip at the same time. Perhaps the Gold and Silver color scheme is what's off. Looking to infuse more into the logo colorwise etc. Thx for all the work so far and I look forward to seeing what comes next!
