Hi Eddie & Ulahts,

It looks similar, but different executions, which is very common in other logos. I played with simple shapes (circles) that anyone can think of, with the concept in mind "getting along", and it was a variation of my #119 actually.

Maybe Mr. Ulahts would be kind enough to show us some legal documents regarding his copyright on the image.

It'll be your call Mr. Reece, or opt for my other designs.

I can show you legal papers as well.

My favorite submission of yours, #135 looks a lot like the logo for Ubuntu.com It makes me a bit nervous about choosing your logo. I need to do some research about how different it needs to be. If you know of where I can find that, that would be helpful. I think both you and ulahts may be infringing on the Ubuntu logo a bit. Don't know for sure.

The attitude you two take towards each other is really sad. There's no reason to get personal with this. I got this from management: Hi Eddie,

I would think you should remove it now. It's best to avoid anything that looks like:
www.ubuntu.com and www.joomla.com

I really think a logo should be totally unique, so in general I advise to avoid any similarities even if you are in a completely different industry.

You can always do a free contest extension, if you need to see more ideas.
