A carrot and a stick for a different approach to weight loss - representing health as an incentive to stay fit.

Re: #63 - thanks for submission, this looks excellent!

I really like the overall graphic sensibility - very different than the other entries, and very good.

My primary concern is the carrot and stick... great concept, but not what I want to get across. Those are a means to an end, not the end itself. No one is excited by the means, they just want the end! I like working "health" into it... but it's health in order to get to a new you.

So, similar graphic handling of a different concept might well turn out brilliantly. The end result is thin, lean, healthy, vibrant, happy. Remember the 84% women in my audience - the text isn't particularly feminine, so the graphic would need to appeal to women (without turning off the men).

Thanks for the feedback - here I've used the silhouette as a T in the word thin.

Nice update!

Re: #76 - Woman's silhouette is a good idea. One thing I've learned over the course of this contest is that the design needs to have a sense of movement and dynamicism. The silhouette you've got here is more in repose - need to make it look like she's in the process of doing something, as opposed to having done it already. Another thing I've noted is that the movement needs to be from left to right, same direction as we read the words.

Although your initial concept of having her be the "T" is interesting, not sure that's important in this variation. Probably losing the "hin" and having just a single, dynamic silhouette in the box would be stronger - less clutter.

I (almost) like the script font for Thin. The idea is right - more feminine looking - but the particular font is a bit hard to read. Having "Get" in regular and "Forever" in italic makes for one too many font variations, I think. Probably be cleaner to choose one or the other.

re: #77 - eliminating the box entirely is fine as well - very different feel, but could be excellent. Same comments as above with regards to the graphic element as well as the "Thin". Having a dynamic silhouette as an independent element (as opposed to substituting for a letter form) I think would be stronger.

For both, the key is the graphic element. Nailing that could easily pop this into a top spot.

Thanks again for all your hard work! A lot of people in the focus group liked your design - it really stood out, and was very strong.

I hope you'll enter future design contests we'll be having. I'll be producing several related products over the next couple of years, and really like your design sense.
