I am on a "simplicity" kick lately, especially when it comes to wordmarks. I think the wordmark should be clean and bold...so I tend to stay away from a lot of gradients and subtle color combos. White/Red/Pink against black is a bold color scheme, in my opinion and would look great on T-Shirts.
#66 and
#67 Use a clean font style with a small "sauciness" element. I didn't want the element to be too large or complex because I think it would over power the wordmark...which is NOT good in my opinion.
#68 Incorporates a tilted "S" that perhaps got a little too saucy one evening.
#69 Is the simplest, no graphic element, just the saucy "S" leaning on a "t" for support.
Again, I have been using a lot of this simple and clean style lately, and I know it's not for everyone, but it DOES stand out, which is what I think every good logo should do!
