#304 - modified version to facilitate single color (in this case, black on white)
#305 - and since I had to re-build the file, I took the opportunity to play with multiple spot colors (you're seeing these on screen, but printers will know them as 'Pantone solid matte').
Entry 303 and 306 are still tops for me. The one thing I do like on the newer entries is that the longitudinal lines show better. I like the original shading. The only thing I thought about experimenting with was a small circular portal window. This might make it seem less missile-like and more like a rocket ship... I like the subdued colors after seeing many designers focus on the vibrant ranges- although the red and yellow version of your earliest rocket was sharp!
I have finalized my tag line. It may or may not work below the logo. Let me know what you think... Tag line: Embrace Challenge-Seize Opportunity-Be Extraordinary Thanks!
Without porthole. Tagline: they almost always get placed according to the layout of a particular asset. For example, a tag line can look really nice reversed out on the back of a business card.
I agree with less is more with the porthole, but thanks for trying it. I understand having flexibility on the location of the tag line. I am not sure what you mean by reversed out???
Understood. One last artistic question. I do like the 20's art deco style lettering, or perhaps a 50's font style. I do like the get ready big and bold, but I wonder what your thoughts are on different font styles for Get Ready? I like the cursive Coaching, so we definitely can stand pat on that style.
'big and bold' is the order of the day for those two words - they will be leveraged most in your branding efforts as well as in presentations, I expect. The current font is Myriad Pro, which is highly versatile, readable 'at-a-glance', and scales well to any size. That font in all of its iterations will extend well across all of your collateral.
As far as the logo design itself goes, the overall look strikes a balance between vintage aesthetic/interest and the need to communicate with clarity and ease. I don't think we would be furthering the cause by changing much at this point.
Thanks, Steve. Files approved. Do you know the best way to get the logo to fit as a Facebook page cover? I have tried changing the size and it is goo big when I have to meet the 399 minimum pixel width for the Facebook page. Let me know if you have a solution. Thanks!
