Ref #10 - good, clean, simple and easy to replicate in any medium. It's not too powerful - meaning it doesn't jump out and grab your attention and keep it. But, it is a start to get the name out there and make it easy to read and recognize.
Ref #8, 11, 12 - I thought about a G forming a sun, but think offset orientation doesn't look as good in this case - I think sunbursts would be better off being bigger and fewer - making it easier for replication and identification if that motif is one that a designer goes with. A few sun designs so far, so that's a general comment, but one that would apply to the 3 designs above.
I didn't like #7 - reminded me of a food label, which is good, but seemed like a pure word-art concept like we could (almost) do in Word. Not a critique of skill - just the feedback on that style for this particular event. thanks for submitting it though, because now I could give feedback on it to help steer to what I do prefer.
Thanks for the new submissions. I like the #23 better, but it does not tie together very well for me. My favorite from you is still #10, but as you can see from a couple of the others in the top 10 - I'm gravitating to color, flow and unique feel. Look forward to seeing your updates. thanks!
I wanted to thank you for your entries. We loved the globe shapes, and were we to use the logo primarily in web or print formats, I think it would have likely won as we could do a lot with it with Flash/Java. The main reason it fell in our ranking was the challenge to print on brown carton boxes with one color inks.
You worked very hard on the contest, and we loved your creations. Well done and thank you.
Hello Tdi, Thanks for your comments, appreciate it, If you give me a change to provide the one color version for my "globe" series, i can do this to you for your consideration, just need temporarily re rank to upload them.
