Excellent work. Ultimately we chose something different due to the simplicity. we will be putting our logo on a lot of brown cartons, etc. plus some simple things like labels, and we felt our ultimate selection was a better fit. I want to thank you for your excellent work and your creativity. you are an outstanding designer.
I can't open your link, but I'm disappointed. I don't view the entry selected as an infringement on your design, any more than I do your design on submissions #182, #164, #38, #198. I think #217-220 would be pushing it - as they appear to be copying your swirl closely. The one we chose, I don't think so. It's closer to #64 or #34, but a different twist on a partial circle with colors that WE directed/chose.
So, Not sure what you're trying to claim here as I can't read it as I'm not a designer registered on here, but would hope you resolve this quickly so we can get to work. This isn't my first tournament on here, and I know the rules and respect the property/design talents of the other contestants. If I believed for a second this was crossing the line or was stealing your idea, I'd have put it in the not-interested section. I don't believe it did, and that's why it stayed where it was. these are very different other than having some swirls and a final color combination that we selected for several designs.
Just my vote in case anyone's reading these comments.
Also, we viewed yours as having the colored wording as an integral part of the logo. the other was a free-form letter G for the most part, and nobody's got claim to the way the letter is shaped.....
I'll await the voting results and do what I think is best.
Hi. With due all respect I'm sorry to caused you disappointment. The point I started the LogoCourt is to protect what I had come out first. Yes both entries are different visually, pixels by pixels, size by size, twist by twist but the CONCEPT is what I want to claim. From your interpretation, mine is globe and Andrei one is film gear.. actually both entry was a G symbol made by swooshes.. and I was first to introduced it and you know it clearly. If you flip my entry to the right side, smaller the blue swoosh, it was almost the same execution.
Regarding #164, I noticed the designer has withdraw the entries. I don't see #182 as an issue, it's a 3D bar.
