I like how you've managed to combine the glasses and the salt shaker. I also like the two-coloured text, although we're leaning towards black-and-red based on some of the other designs. We don't want the tagline included as part of the logo, and I'm concerned that the image is taller than the text - we primarily want to use this as part of our navigation, so it'd be nice if everything was a consistent height.

no worries. I will take this on board and prepare a revision for you. Appreciate the feedback.

We think example: #21 is a big improvement, but we don't think creating a character out of the salt shaker works. Can you try a version without the hair and glasses (something that looks like a traditional salt shaker on top) - perhaps with and without the tie. Thanks!

Would also love to see what you come up with if you take a look at our comments on the main page.

We prefer the font used in example: #6 for what it's worth.

I like both of the new fonts that your working with, and the more stylised salt shakers. The salt granules themselves are perhaps too dense? I'd also like to see a version with the salt shaker above the text, as in example: #23.

I like example: #27 most of all of your designs (the texture that you've introduced with the word salt could be great), but I don't think it's the overall winner at the moment, and I don't have much advice on how to make it better by iterating on it. I love the designs you've done for other clients - how can I help to guide your efforts? Perhaps we could try something completely different - very open to any suggestions that fit our intended usage!

Appreciate the honest feedback, I will keep at it but I think my only questions are wether you are looking for something literal or more clever/playful? And do you prefer clean/modern or sketched? That should help immensely. If you have links to a favourite logo that really provides some great insight to. I'm enjoying your contest so remain committed to trying to get this right.
