Hi Cahyadi,
I like entry #9, the colours are good, can you stylize the hourglass differently ?
I am wondering what it would like against a black background, perhaps the dark blue will lack contrast.
what about a laser beam underlying the text ?
thanks for your ideas, they are interesting !

Hi Cahyadi,
I thought I might give you a little further feedback,
I like your design but wondered if we could use a more abstract symbol for the hourglass, same position but perhaps skewed so that it appears a laser beam is projecting from the tail of the Tau character, cutting through the center of the hourglass (which perhaps sits behind the 'o') the beam is dotted as it then connects to the 'R'.
Other notes that might help:
I plan to use the logo on the side of my product, the logo location format is a rectangle 22 mm x 9.5 mm
The logo must fit comfortably within this format
The GaTor device has a black anodized aluminium surface
I would prefer the hourglass concept incorporated into the GaTor4D text
There could be a space between GaTor and 4D
The hourglass concept can be more symbolic, ie curves suggestive of hourglass shape.
Possible to use two characters or more to incorporate the concept of pulse excited luminescence / laser / hourglass
thanks for your great efforts

Hi Cahyadi,
It seems I have caused a problem by contacting PixelVision and asking him to do exactly what I asked you to do. I sent him a direct request "use a more abstract symbol for the hourglass, same position but perhaps skewed so that it appears a laser beam is projecting from the tail of the Tau character, cutting through the center of the hourglass (which perhaps sits behind the 'o') the beam is dotted as it then connects to the 'R'.
Obviously I should not have sent two designers the same instructions since it would appear that one is copying from the designs of another.
Please withdraw your complaint against PixelVision, he was only following my instruction.
thanks,
Russell

The LogoCourt was removed after he has withdrawn the entry...
I just follow the rule because putting the hourglass in the "O" is my concept... Not from the brief...
That's all it is.
Thanks russell.
