Thanks again for revising the logo - I think the new logo's colors don't complement each other. If one were to use a more colorful palette, keeping with fewer colors will show it off more. But if there are too many colors - it is distracting to the viewer. ie: in
#179 - the "gary" does not complement the blue color background so it shows very light and faded and maybe even lost. I don't want the name to be lost or hard to see. In
#178 - although the name is more visible and contrast is good, I don't think purple and yellow is one that conjures up motorsport, races, NASCAR, Indy, speed..etc..etc
#177 - although I like the orange - I dont think magenta/purple goes well with orange.
#176 yellow background is ok as well, but the magenta/purple again doesn't work with the blue. I think fewer colors will work - but the choice of complementary colors is needed too. Thanks for the logos and your hard work...
Also - If you check out my contest brief - it should give some ideas of what Im looking for as well as my intentions to put the logo against a white and black background. I also want to see a logo representing multiple areas - not just a G. As you noticed in the many entries in this contest, the current top ranked logos show more than just the G and i - sometimes you will see a car, camera, speed, motion, helmet..etc...etc..
