Small law firm that focuses on criminal defense and family law.

I would like the logo to have basically only one color (besides white/black background) because the logo will be photocopied into gray scale more often than not. Working with negative space would interesting. The primary color is a deep, emerald green (RGB approx. 4, 93, 28). However, I would like to see some options with blue or grey if possible.

I'm liking a lot of the submissions but I'm surprised there aren't more variations on the letter "G." To me that's a very versatile letter and could be used creatively in a number of ways. I'll upload some ideas that hopefully generate a little more variation.

I would prefer a serif font and wouldn't like something trite in the legal industry like "&," a gavel, scales of justice, pillars, etc. I'm not opposed to some subtle logo with an animal like a bear, an elephant, a gorilla, or an ox that can invoke positive subconscious associations.
