I'm currently very satisfied with this one. The fonts fit the words very well and the symbol has a lot in it. It's "R" in a "G". Plus both the letters are a bit arrowlike. Plus (this I like the most) it reminds of a computer screen opening towards the viewer. It has an outline, so it's no problem displaying it on something else.
Looks very good. I'd be curious to see what this would look like put GamingRivalry inside of the R/square. This would require enlarging the square. Then put "Gaming" withiin the white space above, below, or left of the R. Then put "Rivalry" next to/adjacent to it in another side's white space or possibly even in the diagonal "tail" of the R. .com could go somewhere outside the square.
I'm not sure how well this would work without seeing it, but it is something I thought of right after I saw this.
Thanks for all the work put into this. I wish I could award more than one designer, but awarding you the silver was the best I could do. I understand site ranking helps out the designers here.
Your concept was right up there with bluejet's as far as the number of people who picked yours as their favorite. However feedback I gathered suggested that there were also some who disliked the style.
But I feel this is a very strong logo and appreciate your effort.
Sooo close! Well, thanks for the silver. Personally #29 is also not a style I like the most. #28 however is one of my favourites in my portfolio, so I've enjoyed this competition. Good luck with your business!
Thanks! I'm not really sure which variation I like best of yours to be honest. They are all good. I could have put either #28 or #29 for silver. But they were so similar I dropped one down in ranking to help reward the other designers.
And you did well by doing that. Some CH's don't understand the point of the ranking system and there was even an example of a contest with very similar variations of one logo from a designer got ranks 1 to 25 or so.. I also liked the idea of polling people for their favs. That's what the serious companies do when building a brand.
