Galaxy Home RecLogo Design Contest

We've definitely gone back and forth on the orbit. While it is a consideration, we are hoping for something else that helps reinforce our home recreation, fun image. We have definitely not been able to come up with what that image would look like.

if we did go with the orb design, we would have it go around the "G' to take up less space.

#4: I think the image would look better on the left hand side. It would also save us space.

As for #7, #8, #9, i think the logo goes away from the fun image we are trying to conotate.

I really like #1, #2, #3 and #4. It's hard to differentiate which one would be truly number 1.

#2 has the most promise, but it needs to be sharper and in better font. It definitely does reinforce we are in the business of fun. If someone was to go that route, i would list the image products as: billiard, spa, playground and arcade.

#3 is also simple and reinforces that our focus is the home. I like the cleverness of the home being a planet. It does look a little like a video game though.

#4 probably has the most character to it - being different and mixing in the stars with the block letters. I would probably shift "home recreation" to the right and not have the hypen. Also, probably use different font.

The new ones coming up seem to be getting more creative and more in tune with what we are looking for - something fun, something that can also stand independent of our company name on TV advertisements and POP material.
