Hi! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monitary means of showing apprecaition for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:

Thanks for the initial submissions, really appreciate it. Would like to get more pictorial marks and abstract marks which would connote fashion. Would love to get entries for an emblem-type of logo. Do keep it coming, anything icon or abstract mark which would stand for being fashionable, stylish and innovative - just throw it in.

Many thanks for the forthcoming entries! Good luck guys!

Wow, awesome influx of new designs. Many thanks for your participation. We've got a good diverse mix and that's primarily my objective. I tried ranking as fast as I can, but would like to throw in additional comments to exhaust all design territories.

Upon reviewing the designs, it seems to me that the ones that 'relatively' work in our context are the ff:
1. Block letters, Non-Sript BUT should be proprietary typeface which we can own, and not commercial fonts
2. Colors are always welcome but bear in mind that we plan to execute this on walls, caps, shirts etc., so chosen color textures should be flexible. (e.g. gradients will be hard to execute on a building facade).
3. Yes we want to push for creative designs but not too 'cartoon' please. It's still a professional organization so the logo should still stand for substance and credibility.
4. I only saw 1-2 attempts to create an icon or mark which can stand for fashion. Again since we're using an arbitrary acronym, it would be great if we can nail down a tasteful 'mark' or symbol which can represent what we are all about.

As a last note, can we also do executions which would make the viewers read the logo as an acronym and not as a word - I mean it should be read as "jee-ey-bee-see" and not "gab-see." I don't know yet what the best solution is, add a stress mark on G? separate the G from the pack via color or weight? Will leave up to your creative minds to address this key item.

Looking forward to more entries. Keep it coming guys, and thanks again for investing your time and effort in this contest of ours.

Many thanks!

Yes, we're heating up! Thanks for the new entries folks! It pleased me to see we've got some entries with icons/marks associated with style and fashion already like #115, do keep these types coming in. Also like the fact that some entries are already separating the "G" to ensure proper pronunciation of the name like #107 and #88.

Again, I would appreciate some illustrative samples rather than just typeface play. Let's also keep the clutter to a minimum given that the winning logo would have to be executed easily on a variety of materials. Intricate designs should be carefully evaluated.

Many thanks! Looking forward to more variety and proprietary designs.

Cheers!

Last few hours... I love the new designs, certainly a lot of variety now in the pool. Makes it harder to make a decision and choose but I'll take it! Keep it coming guys, so many things can still happen in the contest. Cheers!
