Our Ideas & Additional Information

The logo/name will be positioned on the left side (header) of a website. We prefer a design with more width than height. It’s free to integrate (or not) logo and name. We like the simplicity and professionalism of the logo/name of YouTube. The logo has to represent very clear 'easy finding real estate' because of the unrecognizable nature of the name FYODE.com. Site visitors should immediately understand the purpose of the website. The extension ‘.com’ should be subordinate to ‘FYODE’, by color and/or size, and/or uppercase/lowercase. It’s recommended to use the slogan ‘find your destination!’. See for example the downloadable file FYODE_01.jpg.

We prefer to keep ‘FYODE’ and ‘.com’ horizontal, see the example-file FYODE-01.jpg. The logo has to give a clear and strong message: ‘easy finding real estate’. Another important rule is: keep it simple! See also the individual comments. Looking forward to your new suggestions!

At this moment there is not yet one big favorite design. The favorites of the range until now (to 33) are #14, #28 and #29. The combination house/arrow seems to be a strong combination that closes to our message. Moving to another home (temporary or not) is maybe more important than searching/finding but FYODE.com is an indispensible tool to realise that move. If you use (not necessarily) another color beside black/gray and orange we prefer blue as the complementary color with orange.

New rankings have been made on the range 1-95. Some designers are close to a nice solution but there is still enough space for new inspiring designs.
