i like the refinement on the torch, glad you stayed with the solid torch and didn't replicate what i did - my wife pointed out thats way to fine of a detail and I'm sure that was why you did what you did, thanks - see public comments too
See uploaded sketch - would need to be much more refined, but thats the best I can do to express the point off it being a artistically rendition. I prefer the original sparks. I think less is more on the sparks.
When i sketch the torch, just kind of fell into the "F" with in the shading, but not required to maintain that. And on your next revision, could you do one with the font 15% thicker?
Dont care for the mig welding torch - that the one you revised to. I like the tig welding torch better, just looking for more refinement with in the shape of the "torch" itself - sparks are good really. Just only revise this exact lodo, all others with shapes are pretty much out at this point - I just love the simplicity of this one
Also, on any of the design your created, we ten to struggle with the "METALWORKS" above the FUSION. would rather see it below the fusion. Maybe change the point to the top?? and omit the anvil and city...??
Would like to see some refinement on the welding torch itself, and the sparks too maybe. I like things that are drawn as artistical version of the actual item, so you look at it and its not a complete perfect sillohette of the torch, but you know its a torch. Other than that im am really excited about this design!! great work!!!
You went from last to first Daniel.... Liking this design. Can you play with different shapes beyond the circle. Maybe a hex or or octogon. I like shapes and abstract shapes if they flow well. Maybe even a silhouette shape of the anvil or some other welding / metal shape?? I'm feeling feeling something with this design.......
The reason why I like the DC Development and Blue mountain Insulation is that the graphic correlates directly to what they do! The both use flat shapes to creat a 3d look and i really like that. There both simple, clean, and no one would have to ask what there logo is intended to mean, its very very clear. I want these qualities in my finished product!

Here is a version with the thicker typeface, and a silhouette of the Tig Welding Torch, similar to the drawing you loaded #58.

FYI - A few different people said the anvil looks like a toilet, so that just killed that for us now..
