Dig the shot. Swinging for the fences with something different. Cool. The kung fu FA is tattoo-like which I dig but would like to see with a more tribal flair instead of asian. the circle around with the do risk grow is excellent and contains (legitimizes the hipness inside).
I have always liked the north west coastal indian art (totem pole) as well as those old national park patches and signs. Those old signs are kind of like army patches and would make a great t-shirt or bumper sticker.
#14 By far my favorite so far. Our blue a little darker and although I dig the star it obscures the A under the F, maybe cross the A so it's a more direct FA? Regardless, it kicks ass and is super cool.
#27 great. A tad lighter now on the blue (pain in the ass, I know, but I think it might look black on printing). I would also like to see it in different shapes because the rectangle looks like the contemporary army slogan which I saw on a car today and has terrible connotations these days. Shield or national park shape? I like it very much, thank you.
#27 still one of my favorites. Is there a way to make the stripes FA a little more letter obvious (like crossing the A somehow)? We might not even need the words then with some logo applications. Or maybe I'm crazy
Color a little lighter, less purple please (but darker than #14).
#42, #43, #45 are all extraordinary and everyone who has seen them loves them. As a professional what is your feedback on this logo? Educate me and give suggestions.
Thanks for the feedback. The logo contains all the elements that represent your company...the fulcrum, the initials FA, balancing "DO.RISK." and "GROW!"; and mountains. It also incorporated the shield, the sergeant symbol and your current font type. I would keep the current font for branding purposes as this is the one recognized by your customers. I will replace it with a modern one if you are planning to re-brand. Over all I find the logo flexbile, with a feel of youthfulness and at the same time seriousness. Flexible, as the elements are not busy. Colors are few, which makes it inexpensive for marketing materials. And direct to the point.
Yo. Some designers in this contest have agreed that my first choice is correct at number one (I've asked for professional feedback from the community) . Everyone poled at my company likes yours the best so far. Just thought you would want to know. It is awesome.
I'm not sure where to go with it but am open to suggestions, feedback or exploration.
#65 Numero Uno. My staff favorites so far. Would like to see the periods between do and risk be bullet points instead of periods and orange. Orange also exclamation mark. Also can we deepen the gold to orange overall because it looks a little UCLA and we work with USC a lot.
#70 we went a little too dark on the orange and blue because compared to #65 it looks heavy and death-star forbidding. Somewhere in the middle, a little more lively. This is a great logo. You're just competing with yourself today bro.
Yo. #76 reigns supreme at this late point in my contest despite last ditch, hail mary attempts by the latecoming piggy backers. Couple things: still don't love the colors yet, both blue and orange feel a little 'dead' somehow. Brighter somehow but still less powder blue/gold of #65.
Would also like to get several of the other variations for different uses. What are your thoughts on that?
#119, #120, #121...just a thought. You can differentiate the different departments by changing the color of FA. This way the company logo keeps its image. One caveat on having various logos per department is that your customers might get confused with your brand. Just have one logo and change the color for each department. For T-shirts, stickers and prints, a 2D (flat color - no gradients/shadows) will be provided. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks!
