For both design's 1 and 2, the first comment: there is no apostrophe- its Frogsleap Farm; exactly as I just spelled it.
Secondly, this "frog" looks more like a toad- we need this to look more sleek, like a leopard frog- look up a picture of a leopard frog, and that is what we are looking for
The tomatoes: one should be green when ripe, see the web page we provided for other views of the tomatoes; and at least one with stripes- like green stripes on a red tomato- again, reference the link we provided...
We like the ay in entry #66 the word Frogsleap is on top, and then Farm is on the bottom- meaning we like the way that it is separated somehow...
Feel free to try all different fonts/colors for options...
will do - I was actually in my own garden this week quite a bit and had a big fat frog under my tarp, so I drew him. He was a lot fatter than a regular frog, though - so I'll fix it. Similarly, I drew the tomatoes I'm growing (or will be) in my own garden (romas, big boys and another heirloom type)...so I'll fix those per feedback, too :).
Sorry about the mis-spelling - I looked at the page, but wrote it down in my sketch book wrong :(
I'll have all of the changes, as well as some color variations, for you tomorrow mid-afternoon, if that's okay. If I'm still ranked, I'll have 3 days in the "next phase" to work on it with you, too.
thanks! - (although, I had some awesome "previous versions" of that logo that looked even better in my opinion.) The client & I worked on that quite a bit to get it to that point. It did come out nice, though. :)
Here's a single color version of the other layout - thought it might be nice to see it as a single color as well. A red ink stamp could look great on seed packets/trays/samples, etc. Even stamped onto plant stakes/markers.
Josh - I think we are close. I like #87, but prefer the original tomato fruit colors, except for the front left fruit, where I'd like green fruit (w/ stripes, if possible). I like your idea of partnering with a black and white version for a stamp to use on tags and envelopes, etc.
I'm not sure if I can get to it in this phase, BUT - the top ranked designer in "judging mode" can continue to submit revisions, so I can definitely do it. I should have it early afternoon tomorrow at the latest (but I'll try for before the end of phase two) :)
Here is the newly revised leopard frog. I noticed that the toes on my previous weren't the same as a leopard frog's, so I changed those as well (the previous being more bubbled/round as opposed to long, pointy) Condescending herpetologists are the worst!
(also - didn't mean that YOU were a "condescending herpetologist" only that if I didn't change the toes, you'd have a bunch of people pointing out that leopard frogs don't have those kind of feet :) )
