Color Preferences
These are the colors already in use in our website, which is under construction. The red and blue should be the prominent colors. The slate grey could be some accents, trim, or tagline.

Deep Red B91D2A
Navy Blue 3A495B
Slate Grey 626366

We probably prefer a white background.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
We are very open to your ideas. We live in Western North Carolina, which is known for the Appalachian Mountains. Please note the mountains are not like the Rocky Mountains. They are older, more rounded mountains. You don't have to use mountains, but if you do, make sure they aren't jagged like the Rocky Mountains.

Update to Creative Brief: I should have mentioned this before; if you use mountains, don't make them the dominant part of the logo. One of the main competitors in the area has mountains that take up 75% of their logo.

Our company name "Freestone" is named for the freestone mountain streams of the Appalachian Mountains. Freestone streams are known for boulders and mountain trout. Google Image Search is helpful if you need more info.

UPDATE: I uploaded an image called "mountains in competitors logo." If you use mountains, and that is not required at all, try not to do anything to close to my competitor's logo.
