Discussion

Thanks for submitting. Please read all my general comments. Only want to include dance type figure and maybe a music note or something like that, but no art, theater etc.
Can you submit a few other designs? The colors are on target. Text needs to be more fluid, not so boxy/square style.

Thank you for your kind feedback.

Please give me your further opinion on this revisions #18.
I hope it has some potential to be developed in some more ways.

Thanks.

I think it does, but a bit to abstract for people to clearly know that we are a dance studio.
Our name does not state that so we have to show it with a graphic/image.
Would love something with a bit more movement for text or part of it with more movement.
Boxy letters don't fit out style.
Maybe on right track, would like to see more options.

thanks!

Thanks for the entries.
#21 and 22 too girlish. We have boys as well.
I like 18 and 19.
Would like to see with the color called Reflex blue and the same green, along with other font styles.
and the graphic to the Right of the name or a variety of other placements.
Maybe the name
Fountain
Arts Center
with graphic somewhere in middle of Arts and Center?
Just some thoughts.
Thanks again.

Thank you!

Talking about the font styles, do you have any reference or some examples somewhere on the internet perhaps? So I know where I should go to explore the font styles that you might like.

Thanks.

Hi Sunardi,
Check out the fonts listed on general comments page.
Would like stronger dancer image, gets lost in treble cleft, we are mostly dance but have about 15 music students, both boy and girl dancers.
Colors are great.
I posted a few other things as uploads for designers to look at including a dancer we have access to.
Thanks again!

Hi Rachel,

Please find my latest update on #34 #35
And I still want to explore some more of font style.
Will update it soon.

I really like the way these designs are headed!
Thank you!
#43 definitely stands out. The dancer needs to be a little more clear that it is a dancer.
I love how bold/wide the letters are and the graphic - I think that will help with reproducing on shirts, etc.
Easier to read and know what it is right away.
I think I could also use the same font if I wanted to do just the initials of the business but could also keep the graphic with it and it would look nice.
#35. I like the graphic with this as the leg is more clear but it needs to be extend more to tell it is a leg. Maybe that dancer with leg extended but bolder like #43 and with same swirl as #43 around dancer.

Thanks so much - getting excited to see what else you have.
I will be able to check later today.

I'm sorry for my late respond.

I was out of town yesterday. Please find my latest revisions #60, based on your suggestions before.
And one version with different typo at #61, as I read on your general comment that you also like Colonial font.
But personally I like the font at #60.

Thank you.

I like the #60 font also.
The dancer is still off a bit - the hands and feet (or lack there of a foot).
Is there some way to combine the swirl effect with the body so in some parts they are one?
Like the bolder dancer so it reproduces well.
Please keep submitting ideas.
I want as many as possible to choose from.

Thank you!

At this point #69, now I see there is initials F, A and C hidden behind the swirl.

I hope I developed it in the right way.
You're a great Contest Holder on helping us developing our concept.
I believe you have some more opinion on those new entries, as I know you're an artist too.

Thank you!
