Here are some of my concepts. I've gone for something that's fairly clean and simple, yet striking. Creating an icon that works well within the logo or as a stand alone element, one that can be used for things like favicons or watermarks.
The logos are 100% vector so will scale well to any size, and works well in full colour, B&W and on coloured backgrounds if needed,
It would be my pleasure to work up any variations so please do say. I look forward to your comments or thoughts.
Thanks for the feedback and comments, always appreciated.
Of course, would be my pleasure to work those up ... And here they are. The advantage of the design is that since its vector, even though we can create a glossy version, its easily translates into a B&W version i.e. have full glossy for high end print, websites etc, but then also a single colour for other purposes like small print, faxing etc (whilst not loosing the actual design).
Can you add more color, interest to #1. We do like the simplistic, but now want to see a little more depth, refinement, sophistication, etc. to this design.
#163 - no 3D edge, but changing the gradient from blue to green, new font #164 - blue to green gradient, with 3D edge (in chrome), and new font #165 - blue to green gradient, 3D edge (but in same colours just reversed), new font #166 - filling the white space in the centre with a blue gradient #167 - original green gradient, with blue inner gradient, 3D effect on both, white highlight #168 - as above just rotated #169 - a proper 3D version of the previous two #170 - a version of #166, but adding 3D edging
I think from my side, my personal favourite is #167 ... It has the two colours represented whilst still looking smart and clean. But including the 3D edging gives it a lift and depth (without making it look too much otherwise the thinner edges on the corners will disappear). I also think that is my favourite font as its not a standard (like Times), and has a unique feel.
Of course if you'd like to see any other changes, please don't hesitate to ask.
#171 - as per your feedback and direction, using flat colour #172 - as per above just reversing the icon colours, and using flat colour #173 - adding a very subtle gradient to the colours #174 - as per above just reversing the icon colours, subtle gradient
