We choose you more from your skills and ideas but the logo's you have delivered are not really the ones we like. Could you get some inspiration from this logo : http://bankerwessel.com/node/98

And try some idea around the squares and kitchen tiles. You could apply a similar font. FOODLAB could be written in one word or two.
