Color Preferences
My immediate thought is colors that suggest energy and vibrancy which makes me think of oranges or yellows or mustard. Since our target market is the food industry, especially natural foods, green comes to mind but it is heavily used and I am open to a different approach that fits (brown, purple?) Green, of course, also suggests money which is nice since our objective is to increase the financial value of our client companies. I'm no color expert and am open to any and all colors that fit the market.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
White Wave Foods, www.whitewave.com, has a nice simplicity and doesn't lean on green. The Natural Store, http://myzerowaste.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/the-natural-store-logo.jpg, is elegant and suggests the theme in an unusual way. Better 4u, http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/better4u-foods-launches-all-natural-sprouted-grain-pizzas-205265761.html#prettyPhoto, has a bold look that defies the hearts-and-flowers approach to natural. Ethos, http://logopond.com/gallery/detail/172369, has a clean approach with organic qualities that are eye catching. In general, many of the consulting logos tend to be too rigid. An organic feel will likely sit best with the audience. Perhaps a transition from organic to geometric can capture the balance of natural/food and money/profit. Again, you're the designer and I'm open to all possibilities.
